Times like these really make music fans think of The Black Eyed Peas’ single, “Where Is The Love,” from 2003. Looking at what is going on between the black community and the cops is just horrible. Killing is wrong, there are laws against it for a reason.

In the midst of this, the people have united to protest. One rally ended in gun fire and left police officers killed and the other has led to a peaceful protester being taken into custody. Deray McKesson is a popular leader in Louisiana and he is currently in jail.

Taking part in the Alton Sterling rally, Deray McKesson was randomly picked out of the crowd by cops and arrested. Video footage of the run-in is available on the site. Meanwhile, Twitter has begun the #FreeDeray trend in hopes of making a real change.
