There was much drama Jay Z went through, last year, as TIDAL had several hiccups upon launching. Negative press about TIDAL would not be all of his problems, as Rita Ora was soon making threats. Filing a lawsuit against Jay Z, Rita Ora forced her way off Roc Nation.
Rita Ora’s lawsuit accused Jay Z and company of making false promises to her. Often, Rita Ora saw her projects backburnered for the other ventures, such as Roc Nation Sports and TIDAL. The other ventures, plus the other artists was too much for her.
A couple of weeks ago, Rita Ora was rumored to have signed with a new label. The lawsuit with Roc Nation is settled and Rita Ora has decided to find a new label home. Rumors pointed to Rita Ora signing with Columbia Records, but she has opted for Atlantic, however, according to her Instagram.
