Just when the sports world was ready to crown Stephen Curry the new king of the NBA, LeBron James reminded them he is still a factor. He is appearing in his sixth straight NBA Finals, a league record. More impressive is how he has done this with two different teams.
Prior to LeBron James being with Cleveland, they weren’t even in playoff contention, let alone going to the Finals. Now, the Cavaliers are the closest they’ve ever been to a championship. Tomorrow night, it is decided, once and for all.
LeBron James is one win away from his first championship with his hometown Cavs, third overall. With the championship within reach, there are rumblings of yet another departure. Just two years after returning to Cleveland, LeBron is rumored to be leaving again after he delivers the city a championship.
