Where the Golden State Warriors and the Cleveland Cavaliers are concerned, there are plenty of firsts. Adding to the intrigue of this budding rivalry is Anderson Varejao. After spending his entire career with Cleveland, they traded him to the Warriors in January.
Cavaliers’ fans hated to see Anderson Varejao leave, but they have learned to appreciate why other NBA fans have always despised him. If not anything else, he is a thorn in the side in the NBA Finals. This is one reason the Warriors have him.
But, here is a fun fact, more than likely, regardless of what happens in this weekend’s Game 7, Anderson Varejao will win the title. Seeing how late in the season he was traded, Anderson Varejao still qualifies for a title with Cleveland. No matter what, he will win the championship.
