Being a businessperson isn’t just about the successes, it is also about the endurance. The saying about cost to be the boss is true and something real business figures face, daily. For all of Jay Z’s music success, he has disgruntled artists, Rita Ora being the most recent one.
Rita Ora signed to Roc Nation when the company first launched, back in 2008. Despite being among the first artists signed to the label, she has yet to release an album with the label. Last year, she filed a lawsuit against the company and threatened to “expose” Jay Z.
Yesterday, news broke of Rita Ora settling the lawsuit with Roc Nation. Initial reports suggested Rita Ora would remain with Roc Nation, after settling the lawsuit. This no longer appears to be the case, as it is now being said that she has signed with Warner Music Group.
