Being the best comes with a major price that LeBron James has paid since day one. Selected among the many “next” Michael Jordan players in basketball, James faced the backlash the minute he proved he was not the next Jordan, but the first him. His legacy is quite impressive.
LeBron James has led two different franchises to three and four Finals appearances, respectively. All of this has taken place in a nine year span, even more impressive. Playing thirteen years in the league, James has been to the Finals in over half of those seasons.
Unfortunately, LeBron James has had trouble when it comes to winning most of these series. Aside from being 1-0 vs. OKC, he is 1-2 vs. the Spurs, 0-1 vs. the Mavericks, and halfway to being 0-2 vs. Golden State, led by Steph Curry. Following tonight’s 110-77 loss, some fan made a hilarious meme of Steph Curry blowdrying his hair.
