Snoop Dogg boycotts #Roots, saying he doesn’t understand America showing how they abused black people [VIDEO]

Snoop Dogg 18In the twenty four years since Snoop Dogg made his debut, alongside Dr. Dre introducing Death Row Records, he’s always been controversial. Since the turn of the millennium, Snoop Dogg has been more of a pop culture figure. Snoop Dogg is one of the leading media personalities.

His popularity has skyrocketed since Instagram became his primary source of communication with fans. Towards the end of 2014, Snoop insulted Iggy Azalea with a meme. Their situation quickly turned racial, with the fans, but he now has a real racist situation.

Snoop Dogg, despite a few of his celebrity friends, including T.I. being in it, called for a boycott of “Roots.” The remake of the Alex Haley iconic piece only reminds Snoop Dogg of the negative aspects of American history. He had nothing nice to say about it, but did say he doesn’t understand America continuing to show how badly it treated African-Americans.
