Back when hip hop went pop, it was DMX who brought a new, gritty, sound to the game. Boasting a look similar to recently deceased Tupac, the game changed and DMX was the leading voice. Quite a bit changed since then, too, but DMX owned the moment.
Now, when people think of DMX, they think more about his trouble than his artistry. Truth be told, he is actually one of the best rappers of all-time. The good times of DMX’s career were recounted by the former staff of the Ruff Ryders on BET’s “Inside The Label.”
All of the memories about DMX’s career, in the early days, made the fans nostalgic. Again, many younger people are not as aware of DMX and his music, as they should be. But, those who know vented on Twitter of how they wish Ruff Ryders would come back and do another DMX anthem.
