Just ahead of Mother’s Day, Mario returned with some new music. The new songs were only his third and fourth new releases since 2013, as he hasn’t dropped much since going independent. But, Mario seems finally ready to put his new album out.
Mario, at one point, was the biggest rising name in R&B, before peaking during the 2004-2005 period. Perhaps, the “Let Me Love You” breakout success led to Ne-Yo emerging from the background. But, the years since have seen plenty of new talent emerge.
Hot 97 recently hosted Mario on “Ebro In The Morning,” where he sat down with Ebro, Laura Stylez, and Peter Rosenberg. In the interview, he would discuss his mother, as they have a “unique” relationship, to say the least. He went onto discuss failed relationships before touching on Chris Brown, Migos, and Drake.
