In the 2013-2014 period, Rico Love was one of the biggest breakout stars in the industry. Making a name for himself as a ghostwriter, he has done a lot of recent work with Usher. This led to him being granted his own label under Interscope Records.

Not only did Rico Love become a music star, both in R&B and rap, but he also had his own beef. After he signed Tiara Thomas, Rico Love found tension with Wale. Since then, everyone has made amends, but it made for hard feelings, initially.

Rico Love stopped by “The Breakfast Club” to talk to DJ Envy, Angela Yee, and Charlamagne Tha God about his new work. He explained why he began the We Love Music Conference and discussed the streaming wars. Of course, Jay Z is the face of this battle with TIDAL, leading Rico Love to discuss artist compensation.
