Following a surprise comeback in 2004, which saw Petey Pablo score a second hit with “Freek-A-Leek,” and introducing Ciara on “Goodies,” he disappeared for good. After hanging out with Suge Knight, Petey Pablo found legal trouble. He spent 2010-2014 in prison.
Petey Pablo made another comeback in 2015, when he made a guest appearance on “Empire,” befriending Terrence Howard’s Lucious in prison. Despite being paid, reportedly, $15,000, Petey Pablo is in financial trouble owing law firms, Planet Fitness, among others, totaling over $50,000 in debt, so he has now filed for bankruptcy for the third time since 2009.
