Most casual fans know Mistah F.A.B. best for his work with Snoop Dogg, among others. But, Mistah F.A.B. is well-known in his hometowns and as a philanthropist. Currently, Mistah F.A.B. is working on Son of a Pimp 2, his new album, but he is always active in giving.
Mistah F.A.B. is now up for yet another award in his hometown of Oakland. F.A.B. is regarded as a hero and the city is honoring him, again, at the 10th Annual Oakland Indie Awards on May 12. Fans can catch Mistah F.A.B. performing on the main stage there.
Mistah F.A.B. donates to several foundations built for research for both cancer and AIDS. Among other things, Mistah F.A.B. holds charity baseball and basketball games in his hometown of Oakland. He also does events with celebrities, such as Too $hort for charity.
