This afternoon, the entertainment world was dealt a serious blow when news broke of Prince dying. Even though it’s been seven years, it still feels like yesterday when Michael Jackson passed away. Sadly, Prince has joined him.

The world, meanwhile, has reacted in shock, as TMZ is still breaking major stories. Since then, all kinds of stories have come out surrounding Prince’s death. Every detail of his death is being dissected, but his life is what needs to be discussed more.

Bottom line, all of the talk about Prince comes from his ability to make good music. Not only did Prince make good music, he fought hard for it and joined Jay Z at TIDAL, just last year, to preserve his music, doing a concert in Baltimore to contribute to the city. But, it was Prince in need, as he crossed over and the likes of Anita Baker, MC Hammer, and countless others paying homage to him on Twitter, as Prince has taken over iTunes’ top ten.
