A few years ago, The Diplomats surprisingly took over the game. At the time, many counted them out, as they ended their partnership with Roc-A-Fella/Def Jam. Instead, they began dissing Jay Z and were the last artists to get a response from him.
Cam’ron would go onto diss 50 Cent and they beefed for the next two years. In the midst of this, Jim Jones surprisingly took 50 Cent’s side and performed alongside him. For two years, Cam’ron and Jim Jones didn’t talk and Cam even praised Jay Z.
Since reuniting, Cam’ron and Jim Jones have tried going at Jay Z twice, once in 2009 and once last year. It looked as if all was good between the two Diplomat leaders, but it isn’t. This afternoon, Jim Jones asked fans to tell Cam’ron to unblock him on Instagram and Cam responded that he will block anyone who asks this of him.
