The past decade has seen many rap legends depart from the physical life and transcend. This morning, the rap world is mourning the loss of another legend in Phife Dawg, of A Tribe Called Quest. Co-founding the group, Phife Dawg went on to have tremendous success.
Phife Dawg made quite a name for himself in the game, but is understandably not well-known by the younger audiences. In 2010, he received a shout out from Drake on “Show Me A Good Time.” Since then, he has continued making appearances with Tribe.
Life is a journey and it cycles, starting at birth and ending in death. A new phase begins and it has for Phife Dawg, saddening fans all around the world, as his journey ends at only 45 years of age. The fans on social media have definitely done justice to the legend with their kind words.
