Currently, Kanye West is in the spotlight and, for the first time in a long time, it has to do with his music. Still, Taylor Swift is indirectly associated too, seeing how she called him out last night. Before this, even the Grammys sent jabs at Kanye West.
Last week, Kanye West debuted The Life of Pablo during his Yeezy fashion show, streamed on TIDAL. The moment was ground-breaking, bringing 20 million viewers to Jay Z’s service. Now, Kanye West is demanding Album of the Year before even attending the Grammys.
While a great deal of people did pay, or at least sign up for TIDAL, to get the new Kanye West album, it was still pirated. Earlier this afternoon, it was stated that there were around 500,000 illegal downloads of The Life of Pablo. Despite the good press TIDAL received, Kanye West endured quite the bashing on Twitter over this.
