This morning, Rihanna definitely stole the show, when she debuted her single, “Work,” featuring Drake. After a four year hiatus, Rihanna is delivering her album, #ANTI, soon. The album will be her first album release on Jay Z’s Roc Nation, following years on Def Jam.
In addition to joining Roc Nation, Rihanna has launched her own record label, Westbury Road. With the new business in place, Rihanna is ready to make her comeback. Seeing how she is going strong and dominating now, a walk down memory lane was appropriate.
Ten years ago, Rihanna released her sophomore album, A Girl Like Me, only months after her debut album. Early in 2006, Rihanna began servicing “SOS,” the lead single, to the masses. Due to her continued success and the legend “SOS” became, it became this week’s Wednesday Throwback.
