TIDAL faces more scrutiny for continuing to charge former customers by reactivating their accounts

TIDAL 2As usual, Jay Z had plans on forever changing the game when he purchased TIDAL, a year ago. The plan was to continue serving music, but in a way where artists are properly compensated. After a failed proposal to Spotify, Jay Z knew what he had to do.

In the time since then, Jay Z has faced all kinds of problems in properly launching the company. Certainly, this wasn’t as easy as him buying Def Jam out in 2008. Just when TIDAL gained footing, Apple Music launched and snatched Drake from Jay Z’s hands.

From a customer standpoint, TIDAL is also not living up to the standards people expect. Many people have terminated their subscription to TIDAL, but they are still being billed for it. Obviously, this has become the source of even more controversy, all aimed at Jay Z’s streaming service.
