Very rarely are things the way they seem, as it boils down to what a person wants out of life in what they get. Of course, there are those things that cannot be changed, but most can. Take 2 Chainz for example, he was in a good position as Tity Boi with DTP.
While Tity Boi was in a good position, Ludacris was clearly the star of the show. In the early to mid-2000s, Ludacris was one of the top rappers in the game, alongside Jay Z, DMX, and Ja Rule. But, later years in rap music were not kind to him.
Tity Boi took a risk to become 2 Chainz, scored a partnership with Def Jam, and did his own thing. In 2012-2013, he was the biggest rapper in the game and boldly said he made more than he ever made with DTP then. Now, he can stunt and boast in his own right, as he played with Instagram, showing off his Phantom and his tour bus, which has a recording studio in it.
