Before Meek Mill endured his prison sentence, last year, he aired out his label-mate, Wale, for not supporting him. Days after he was sentenced to prison, Wale downplayed the incident and promoted his album. The situation was tense for the whole squad.
When Meek Mill came out from prison, he spent the bulk of his time with Nicki Minaj and Jay Z via Roc Nation and TIDAL. His affiliation with Roc Nation kept him from Wale, as he left the firm in 2014. But, he and Wale ended up on opposite sides, again.
Yesterday, Wale went on “The Breakfast Club,” discussing the infamous beef between Drake and Meek Mill. After hearing Wale crown Drake as the winner, Meek Mill went on Instagram with a rant and kicking Wale out of MMG. This prompted Wale to respond by posting a pic of his MMG tattoo on Instagram, along with a pic with Stalley saying Self Made 4 is coming soon.
