Not only is Jamal (Jussie Smollett) the next in line to inherit Empire, he is also one of the biggest names in music. As he is preparing his first world tour, he is working with Ne-Yo. Lucious (Terrence Howard) is putting pressure on him to keep his private life off the road.
The past couple of episodes have seen Chase One (Adam Busch) flirting with Jamal, making Michael (Rafael de la Fuente) jealous. With Jamal’s rising stardom and being Lucious’ son, fans felt like something would happen. But, there was a major plot twist in tonight’s episode.
After having dinner with Jamal and Michael, Chase decides to make his move on Jamal, reaching to pull his pants down. Michael walks up, just as Jamal is rejecting him, but doesn’t know what is going on. Minutes later, Jamal walks up on Michael getting service from Chase, angering him and setting Twitter off.
