Seeing how Lucious (Terrence Howard) played both Cookie (Taraji P. Henson) and Anika (Grace Gealey), it made sense for them to team up. When Hakeem (Bryshere “Yazz” Gray) came up with the hostile takeover, Andre (Trai Byers) brought Anika in. Cookie never liked it.
Despite Cookie’s mistreatment and their fight, Anika continues to fight for approval. She even gave Cookie the heads up about Pitbull’s performance with Jamal (Jussie Smollett). Still, Cookie refuses to trust her, even after betraying Lucious.
Cookie held a recent meeting with Anika, where she rejected her again, disappointing fans. Many have rooted for the two to become friends, especially after Anika dyked for her. But, she did not and Twitter is giving it to Cookie for doing so and Grace Gealey is tweeting along, giving fans Anika’s perspective.
