This year, Fetty Wap was the surprise artist of the year. Each time he faces an odd, Fetty Wap beats it. Over the past year, Fetty Wap has made the impossible happen, as people counted out “Trap Queen,” him getting signed, and him dropping an album.
Fetty Wap is everywhere all of the time and is easily the biggest artist in hip hop, at the momentum. His career is just starting, but Fetty Wap wasted no time releasing his self-titled debut album. This album debuted on top of the Billboard 200, easily.
The final numbers are in for Fetty Wap’s debut album and he did a very strong 125,609 copies in his first week. A good portion of these sales came from singles and ten single sales count for one album sale. In actuality, the album did 74,000 sales during its first week.
