This summer, Future owned the game and nobody can take that from him. Actually, since 2014, Future owned the game when he conceded that Honest was not his best work. Immediately, Future went right back in and dropped dope mixtapes fans called them hood classics.

In the time since then, Future took over with “Commas” and hinted at dropping a surprise album. His label somewhat spoiled the release, so he had to drop DS2 on the sly. Regardless, he scored a number one album and was looking to do it again.

Once “Where Ya At,” featuring Drake took over radio, Future and Drake fans began speculating about them doing a full project. A few days ago, this came to be with What A Time To Be Alive, their joint mixtape that also debuted at number one. While his new mixtape/album is doing well, Future and Drake are up to number 33 on the Billboard Hot 100, a new high for him.
