Diddy tops the Forbes Hip Hop Cash Kings list again, beats out Jay Z, Drake, Dr. Dre, and more

Diddy 16With the exception of last year, when Dr. Dre was a part of the $3.2 billion Beats/Apple deal, Diddy has been hip hop’s top earner for the past five years. Until the previously mentioned deal, Diddy was the frontrunner in the hip hop billionaire race. Balance is being restored.

Behind the success of Revolt TV, Diddy is seeing his earnings grow. A lot of his peers also have new business ventures, such as Jay Z with his streaming service, TIDAL. Meanwhile, Dr. Dre remains an executive within Apple.

This morning, Forbes revealed their top earners on their Hip Hop Cash Kings list. The top earners are almost memorized by most people, at this point. But, Diddy comes in at number one, earning $60 million over the past fiscal year.
