When the year of 2015 began, few people expected Janet Jackson to be back, but she is. Earlier in the summer, Janet Jackson scored a minor hit with her single, “No Sleeep.” Before the song fully took off, J. Cole was added to it, making it more of a hip hop crossover.
Janet Jackson is doing extremely well and is currently on tour for her new album. In the coming weeks, Janet Jackson is set to release her album, Unbreakable, her first album in seven years. Currently in the throws of her new LP, Janet Jackson made a big personal decision.
Over the weekend, news broke of Janet Jackson joining Islam. She, like her brother, Michael, before her, has converted to Islam. Already, she ends each of her shows with the message, “Insha Alla,” meaning “if Allah wills,” meanwhile, she has cancelled a few of her dates, including the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas that took place yesterday.
