T.I. talks changing name to TIP, new EP, Hustle Gang, Young Dro, Iggy Azalea, Travi$ Scott, and more with “The Breakfast Club” [VIDEO]

TIP Breakfast ClubMost didn’t come to know who T.I. was until the late summer of 2003, when “24’s” dropped. Soon, T.I. had a platinum album under his belt and he became, arguably, the biggest artist of the mid-2000s. At this point, his story is known to the masses.

Initially, T.I. released his debut album on Arista Records, I’m Serious, which boasted some minor hits. Some did remember the records, but did not connect T.I. to them until later. One story many originally did not know was his name was originally TIP and he changed it.

Recently, T.I. talked to “The Breakfast Club’s” DJ Envy, Angela Yee, and Charlamagne Tha God. During the interview, he discussed reverting back to the TIP name and the history behind it and Q-Tip. He also discussed Da ‘Nic EP, Hustle Gang, Young Dro, and his situations with Iggy Azalea and Travi$ Scott.
