In the mid-2000s, T.I. found his niche and soon took over the game. He came in at the right time and enjoyed an incredible run. Some may argue his run was cut short by consecutive prison stints in 2009 and 2010.
However, T.I. has enjoyed a decent run in the 2010s, also. His biggest mainstream tie is overseeing Iggy Azalea’s career. Last year, her buzz finally grew to a mainstream level and she enjoyed a phenomenal year with a big hit.
T.I. paid a visit to Hot 97, speaking to Ebro, Peter Rosenberg, and Laura Stylez. During the interview, T.I. was asked about Iggy Azalea and he hinted towards them no longer having a working relationship. But, he did speak on being an independent artist, the sequel to ATL, and the Drake/Meek Mill beef.
