One of the original tough guys in rap was Treach, who is a member of legendary crew, Naughty by Nature. A couple of years ago, the group dealt with internal issues. However, Treach was more upset with popular Hot 97 DJ, Funkmaster Flex, recently.
A couple of weeks ago, Treach got on Instagram and declared his home state of New Jersey a “No Flex Zone.” Definitely a good play on words, they were directed at Funkmaster Flex. With Funkmaster Flex inserting himself in the Drake/Meek Mill battle, his frustration was understood.
Treach stopped by “The Breakfast Club” last week and he spoke to the trio of DJ Envy, Angela Yee, and Charlamagne Tha God. In their conversation, he touched on the state of New Jersey, both in the community and on the rap scene. From there, he got into the Funkmaster Flex situation.
