On and off, for the past ten years, J. Cole has dated Melissa Heholt, the woman he recently proposed to. Since he was known by the mainstream, however, J. Cole has shouted out other women. All a part of the game, he famously said he was dating “Rihannas” on “Nobody’s Perfect.”
J. Cole is currently standing as one of the biggest current names in rap music. Signed to Jay Z’s Roc Nation, J. Cole is months removed from a platinum album release. While touring for said album, J. Cole is already working on his next project.
All of this work meant J. Cole would have to leave something behind, apparently. Unfortunately, this means Melissa Heholt will no longer be his fiancee, the third time they have broken their engagement. Previously, the two were engaged in 2010 and 2012-2013.
