Many props must be given to Gunplay, as he managed to keep himself hot without much push. Back in 2011-2012, Rick Ross shifted the focus from his Miami base to out of town additions, Wale and Meek Mill. In the midst of this, Gunplay still commanded headlines.
Gunplay talked to Hip Hop Vibe in 2012 about the success he was having in the industry. Three years later, Gunplay has released Living Legend, his debut album, to the world. The album, however, is overshadowed by all of the Dr. Dre stuff, “Power,” and his label-mate, Meek Mill, and Drake.
Recently, Gunplay sat down with “The Breakfast Club” at Power 105.1. In his interview, Gunplay talked about his debut album.
