Dr. Dre gives Apple Music a big win with #Compton; TIDAL subscribers bash Jay Z’s service on Twitter for not streaming album

Dr. Dre 9It’s not every day that Dr. Dre drops a new album. So many times, over the past sixteen years, Dr. Dre has pump-faked releasing his final album. This week, however, Dr. Dre decided he would cut the games and then officially release his new album.

Released in conjunction with Straight Outta Compton, Dr. Dre helmed the soundtrack. Compton (A Soundtrack by Dr. Dre) is the official name of the album. Already, radio has picked up a couple of songs off the album, boasting features from the likes of Game and King Mez.

With Dr. Dre’s album out, many fans have taken to Apple Music to stream it, the same place they streamed Drake’s Meek Mill disses. However, when fans who subscribed to TIDAL logged on, they realized Dr. Dre has little to no music on there. This prompted fans to take aim at Jay Z and his service on Twitter.
