Hip hop is the art of war and Drake went in for the kill when he gave the spotlight to Will Smith during OVO Fest. Will Smith is the icon from Philadelphia, Meek Mill’s hometown. Currently, Meek is Philly’s biggest rapper and Drake had the icon in his hometown of Toronto.
Will Smith had a front row seat to Drake performing “3 Peat,” going in for the kill on Meek Mill. The way this beef has played out is something few people expected. Not only is Meek Mill on the ropes, 50 Cent and Ja Rule reignited their beef in the midst of this.
The year is 2015, however, and Drake has owned it so far. Meek Mill is still looking for his position, too, and he continues to fight back against Drake. His latest diss was live in concert, when he called Drake out, saying his own team doesn’t deal with him, mainly Lil Wayne, Curren$y, and Tyga, someone he began beefing with earlier this year and a fan shared the video on Instagram.
