Meek Mill clowns Drake’s diss “Charged Up,” but says he can tell Drake really wrote this one

Meek Mill 29Alliances are few and far between, but there are key partnerships in hip hop. Among the most notable hip hop partnerships in recent years is that of Maybach Music and Young Money. This alliance has produced some classic Rick Ross/Drake collaborations over the past few years.

Meek Mill greatly benefited from this situation, as Drake jumped on a couple of his singles. Coming off tremendous street buzz, Meek Mill definitely needed Drake’s mainstream boost. This week, Meek Mill suddenly threw it all away and dissed Drake on Twitter.

Calling Drake out for not writing his own rhymes, Meek Mill kept people talking all week. At the end of the week, Drake responded to the tweets with “Charged Up,” a response to both him and Funkmaster Flex. Minutes after the record dropped, Meek Mill got back on Twitter and called Drake’s response “soft,” but said he could tell he wrote this one himself.
