Hard to believe it’s already been ten years since Rihanna burst onto the scene with “Pon de Replay” being her first hit. Signed to Def Jam by Jay Z, soon things looked up for Rihanna, as she became a household name. A decade later, Rihanna has joined Jay Z at Roc Nation and TIDAL.

Following “Pon de Replay,” Rihanna posted hits such as “SOS,” “Umbrella,” “Take A Bow,” “Hard,” “Rude Boy,” “Talk That Talk,” “Diamonds,” and “BBHMM” came. Indeed a hitmaker, Rihanna has more to come. Now, she has even broken a record.

Out of all the legends in music, it was Rihanna who went on to break the RIAA record. She is the first artist in history to earn over 100 million gold and platinum certifications. Consistency is key, as she is good for a platinum album every year with at least three top ten singles.
