Game’s “The Documentary” tenth anniversary concert in New York City cancelled

When Game delivered his debut album, The Documentary, ten years ago, he was the recipient of the perfect music storm. Any time Eminem and Dr. Dre are involved, it is a good thing. But, Game benefited from being paired with a 50 Cent fresh off his debut album and the G-Unit run.

Unfortunately, Game and 50 Cent were unable to forge a relationship out of music and soon butt heads. Ultimately, Game went out on his own and continued to sell platinum albums. Eventually, Game saw his sales slow and hit record lows with his last two releases.

Coming in 2015, Game had lofty plans, starting with releasing The Documentary 2 on the tenth anniversary of his debut album. While Game has put in work and gotten the features he wants for his album, it ended up being delayed. Now, his tenth anniversary concert that was to take place in New York City was cancelled and it is said to be due to low ticket sales at BB Kings.
