Kendrick Lamar performs on top of stop light in “Alright” music video, clip leaks online [VIDEO]

In 2012, Kendrick Lamar broke through and became the biggest rapper in the game. A lot of people talk about what hip hop is missing and what is missing is a real star. For a few months in 2012-2013, Kendrick Lamar looked like this star.

Kendrick Lamar took time off after the release of his mainstream debut album. This time saw a lot of other artists come up and get their position in the industry. Early this year, Kendrick Lamar finally returned with his second album and he’s still pushing singles off it.

Yesterday, Kendrick Lamar filmed the “Alright” music video in Los Angeles. A woman at work was able to capture some of the performance on her phone and she put it on Instagram. She caught a dope moment where Kendrick Lamar was performing on top of a stop light near Staples Center.
