Last year, Taylor Swift crafted 1989, her fifth studio album. The era in which this album was recorded and released is a major moment of change for Taylor Swift in her career. Surprisingly, Taylor Swift made a new friend in Kanye West during this run.
Taylor Swift performed during the 2015 Billboard Music Awards and she revealed her new single off the album. Already, the “Bad Blood” single was getting pretty good burn. The single version of the track premiered then, however, featuring Kendrick Lamar.
In a little over a week since “Bad Blood” hit, Taylor Swift has more reasons to celebrate. Her song, “Bad Blood,” featuring Kendrick Lamar, has jumped fifty-two places on the charts. This jump has now placed Taylor Swift on top of the Billboard Hot 100 with “Bad Blood.”
