Hearts are heavy, as the hip hop world is dealing with news of Chinx’ death. From all angles, Chinx looked to be the next major artist in the game. The Coke Boys brand is built around French Montana, but it looked like Chinx was emerging as the next star.
Reasoning behind Chinx’s death has yet to be explained. However, Chinx was jumped in Far Rockaway, Queens, last summer on the anniversary of Stack Bundles’ death. After Chinx came out of it unharmed, few thought anything more of it.
Meek Mill is an associate of French Montana, so he knew Chinx. Like many other figures in music, Meek Mill expressed his condolences towards those close to Chinx. He also left a message about not being in the hood anymore and advising his people to get out.
