With all the talk about Ciara, this week, as she released Jackie, it brings back to memory how long he’s been in the game. Late in the summer of 2004, Atlanta songstress, Ciara, broke through. She had a big hit with the single, “Goodies,” the title track of her debut album.
Signed to LaFace Records, now defunct, Ciara was paired with fellow Sony artist, Petey Pablo. As many know, Petey Pablo is prominent on the scene here in North Carolina, as a Greenville native. The year of 2004 was highly successful for him.
In the midst of Ciara being the focal point, at the moment, it made sense to reflect back to her earlier days in the game. This week’s Wednesday Throwback is dedicated to Ciara, eleven years ago when she was only sixteen. The Wednesday Throwback is “Goodies,” which features Petey Pablo.
