When many rappers began gaining fame off the internet, more and more began to emerge. In the 2008-2009 period, Charles Hamilton was one of the biggest rising rappers, alongside Drake and J. Cole. But, a series of unfortunate events led to Charles Hamilton falling off.
Until a couple of months ago, Charles Hamilton was considered washed up with no chance of breaking through. But, Charles Hamilton stayed in the mix with his career. It turns out, he and Rita Ora have the same manager and this helped Charles turn his career around.
Charles Hamilton and Rita Ora stopped by “The Breakfast Club” when he visited Power 105.1. Sitting down with Charlamagne Tha God, Angela Yee, and DJ Envy, Charles Hamilton and Rita Ora discussed “NY Raining” and their new music. Of course, Charlamagne found a way to plug in Charles’ mental breakdown, which led to him discussing his growth and his career comeback, along with much more.
