It’s no secret that Lil Wayne and Young Thug are going at it. Due to all that’s happened, any friend of Birdman’s is an enemy of Lil Wayne’s. This is all because of Cash Money Records delaying Tha Carter V release paired with Young Thug’s intention of naming his album Tha Carter VI.
In the end, Young Thug had to name his album Barter 6. After all, Lil Wayne’s team threatened to sue if he didn’t. Prior to this, however, Young Thug said he was continuing the series after Lil Wayne retired. Initially, this was to be a sign of respect. However, things have since gotten out of hand.
Young Thug ended up really going at Lil Wayne. He decided to throw his album release party in Wayne’s hometown of Hollygrove in New Orleans. But, Lil Wayne is the multiplatinum emcee really from the area and he is shutting all of that down with no violence. Recently, he linked up with Curren$y, evidenced by the latter’s Instagram pic and his caption reveals a concert going on in Hollygrove tonight.
