Throughout the late 1990s and the early 2000s, Case dropped some notable hits. Along the way, Case also delivered the hook on Ja Rule’s hit single, “Livin’ It Up,” sampling Stevie Wonder. In the years since then, many have forgotten Case and his run.
Ja Rule briefly talked to Hip Hop Vibe about the success he had in the late 1990s and early 2000s. But, Case has a lot going on, himself, and recently returned with a new album. This album came out a couple of weeks ago and is still buzzing.
Case recently spoke to Global Grind and he reflected on his history and the success of the 90s era. During the interview, Case talked about how he lost $10,000 to Joe, who was a force in the R&B world during that same period. Of course, he also discussed Heaven’s Door, which he’s been pushing for the past few weeks.
