Recently, there has been a lot of talk about the Roc-A-Fella Records dynasty days. There is never a time when Jay-Z is not all over the headlines and now Damon Dash is back out there. Actually, Dame Dash has a new film venture with Kanye West.
Freeway isn’t seen often with his former crew, but Jay-Z did make him a big part of the first Made In America Festival. While not working as closely with his old crew, Freeway still puts in that work. This work includes his first album since 2012’s Diamond In The Ruff.
At DJ Mel-o.D.’s recent event in Brooklyn at CoCo 66, Freeway took a little time out to talk to Hip Hop Vibe. Only talking for a brief minute, Freeway managed to leave us with some critical information. He announced his new album, Free Will, and he also talked about being with Roc-A-Fella Records when they ran the industry.
