Because of how big Kendrick Lamar was after the release of good kid, m.A.A.d. city, people expected his next album to be even bigger. But, this was not the case, as Kendrick Lamar did not have the same momentum coming back. This time, Kendrick Lamar received a respectable reaction.

Kendrick Lamar released To Pimp A Butterfly earlier this month and has been everywhere since. Without question, Kendrick Lamar put on for his hometown. Following the album release, Kendrick Lamar did a surprise concert through Hollywood.

Last night, Kendrick Lamar reacted to the first week sales from To Pimp A Butterfly. Doing 319,000 copies in his first week landed Kendrick his first number one album on Billboard, but it was down from good kid, m.A.A.d. city numbers, which is disappointing. But, finding out Los Angeles only purchased a little over ten percent of the album sales prompted Kendrick to call his city out on Twitter.
