Currently, Timbaland is involved in many of hip hop’s biggest movements, as he is introducing a new artist. Two of the biggest ventures Timbaland is doing is providing music for “Empire” and working with Tink. Both of these moves have Timbaland looking good, at the moment.
Timbaland is best-known for helping Aaliyah gain stardom by producing her biggest records. In the midst of her run, Aaliyah tragically died and the people have continued to mourn her. Years later, Timbaland revealed he was in love with Timbaland, at one point.
It’s been fourteen years since Timbaland lost Aaliyah and Tink is his current focus. He brought his artist down to SXSW in Austin and it’s clear he has a lot riding on her. In fact, Timbaland told the audience down there that Aaliyah came to him in a dream and told him that Tink is “the one.”
