Last year, Game made his return to the game with the release of his album, Year of the Wolf, a compilation-style album. Initially presented as a label compilation, Game released it as his sixth album. At the same time, he was working on The Documentary 2, the sequel to his classic debut.
Ten years ago, Game helped bring Compton back to the forefront of hip hop with The Documentary. Paired with Dr. Dre and 50 Cent, Game ended up taking over the hip hop world. But, this time, things are much different, as Game and 50 Cent are not on good terms.
Game originally intended to release The Documentary 2 on January 18, but the album was less than six months following his last album release. Recently, Revolt TV caught up with Game and he talked about the album. In the interview, Game revealed the release date for The Documentary 2, which is due on June 30, as he is waiting on Dr. Dre to add his final touches.
