After watching Damon Dash on “The Breakfast Club,” it’s clear he thinks a lot of himself. Some would say Damon Dash is arrogant, but after everything he’s done, he has every right to be. While everyone always points out the downfall, often ignored is how high up he was.
As the CEO of Roc-A-Fella Records, Damon Dash had partnerships with such companies as Def Jam and Reebok at his peak. Understand, as he so bluntly put it on “The Breakfast Club” that he worked WITH and not FOR those companies. Few people can ever say that, but Dame can.
Damon Dash is a genius and a lot of the ventures he didn’t succeed at, other moguls have come behind him and had success with. But, even though he did a lot in the past and his future is bright, Dame Dash is presently not worth half of what DJ Envy is, despite him clowning the host for how he earns his money. A couple of hours ago, Damon Dash continued his rant through a quote on Instagram about jobs vs. passion.
