Hip hop is one of the more dominant cultures in the world. This is proven by “Empire,” television’s hottest show. The hip hop-themed primetime drama has won over people from all walks of life, as the premise is truly addictive.
Terrence Howard and Taraji P. Henson reunite, from Hustle & Flow fame, to form a powerful head of the family. Even as a couple not together, they are winning. From a ratings standpoint, “Empire” wins on a weekly basis, who wouldn’t want more?
FOX is clearly a highly profitable company and they are always thinking of more ways to drum up business. Since “Empire” is such a popular show and it does good in ratings, it might do pretty good live. This is something FOX is considering putting to the test, as an “Empire” tour could be in the works.
