All eyes are on Charlotte, as CIAA Weekend has started. Last night, it got started early when K. Michelle came to town. The past two years have been amazing for her and K. Michelle is now on top of the music world, with two top albums out.
K. Michelle is the latest in a long line of strong, sexy women, that empower women to be strong and sexy, through music. One who came before her was Trina, the rapstress from Miami. Last night, Trina was also in Charlotte.
While K. Michelle was preparing to do her show, last night, she had a special surprise. Backstage, Trina was there to greet her, which was definitely a big deal for K. Michelle, who cites the former Slip-N-Slide first lady as one of her inspirations. This is a moment Trina shared with her Instagram followers.
